[re-online] Organizing requirements by objects -IEEE 830

Hi!

I am new to this list and have a question about how to "organize requirements by
objects" when using the "IEEE-830" requirements specification template, ie:

	Video:
		Video Attributes:

<req 1>
Video Instance:
<req 2>
Video Functionality:
<req 3>
object 2: object 2 Attributes:
<req 1>
object 2 Instance:
<req 2>
object 2 Functionality:
<req 3>

What I have problem with, is let's say that I have two additional objects
that must be described in the requirements document. Both of those two objects inherit functionality from "Video", for example "VHS" and "Betamax".
How do I organize them into the requirements document in a good way? Do I
put them below the "Video" section? Do I put them as separate objects even
though they share a lot of common characteristics with "Video"?

An example would really be appreciated?

Thanks for any help.

Alberto.V
