Following the tradition of previous UML Conferences, UML 2004 will host = a
number of workshops. The workshops will provide a collaborative forum = for a
group of (typically 15 to 30) participants to exchange recent or = preliminary
results, to conduct intensive discussions on a particular topic, or to coordinate efforts between representatives of a technical community.

In particular, each workshop should provide a balanced distribution of = its
time for both, presentation of papers, thus favouring the attendance of young researchers, and discussion. We encourage prospective workshop organizers to submit proposals for highly-interactive workshops focusing = on
either in-depth analysis or broad-ranging approaches to areas related to = UML
and modeling in general. Topics in both research and/or applications are welcome.

The duration of these workshops is one day and they will be held on = Monday
(October 11) and Tuesday (October 12) at the Vila Gal=E9 =D3pera Hotel =
(for its

map location, please check the conference web site).
